What era of hair inspires you most? I love the 1970's because hairstyles varied from long, soft and feminine to short, experimental and androgynous.
Who are your heroes in real life? Joan Didion, Grace Coddington and Anthony Bourdain (RIP)

What is your favorite hairstyle of all time? The French Twist. I love classic hairdressing more than anything.
What do you like to listen to while coloring or styling hair? War On Drugs, Cat Power, Blood Orange - depends on my mood and/or my schedule that day!
On a day off, where/what would you be doing? Hanging out with my husband and our two babes Poppy + Sam, baking or going for a breakfast and movie date by myself.
What is your motto? Progress not perfection.

On a day off, where/what would you be doing? On a day off I can be found hanging around my neighborhood, riding my bike, enjoying live music, or shamelessly binging some sort of Netflix show
What era of hair inspires you most? 60s/70s most definitely, there are so many iconic styles from the overlap in those decades, i.e. early Sassoon, Warhol Factory, Brigitte Bardot
Favorite music to listen to while working? I love various types of music but I generally enjoy a more chill vibe. When I was at HB for my trial day, Dr. Dog came on often and that made me at ease. I generally enjoy anything you would find on an indie Spotify list.
Where would you most like to live? I truly love Philadelphia and would love to own a home here. If I could live anywhere and money/job wasn't a concern I would live abroad for sure. Either somewhere in Central America or Europe.

Where would you most like to live? I’m happy with Philly! I’m originally from New Mexico and I just feel like the east coast is more me than the west. I’d like to stay here and then just spend my time traveling.

What era of hair inspires you most? I would say the 20s and 30s. I love the chic, romantic, finger wave styles. A lot of confidence comes forth when you see women in those times!

If you weren't doing hair, what would you be doing? Become a part time nanny because I love kids but then I would travel to different countries doing volunteer missions for 2-3 weeks at a time.
